Arma Partners is pleased to announce that it has acted as exclusive financial advisor to Caplin Systems (“Caplin” or the “Company”), an FTV Capital and Elderstreet Capital portfolio company, on its recapitalisation by ICM, a specialised investor in financial technology businesses.

Founded in 2000 and headquartered in London, Caplin provides e-distribution software that allows financial institutions to deliver an online trading experience to their clients, globally. Caplin’s award-winning Single-Dealer Platforms (SDP) and associated services enable Investment Banks to deliver trading, payments and information services direct to clients and staff via the internet.

The Caplin management team, led by CEO John Ashworth, participated in the recapitalisation and will leverage ICM’s deep domain expertise to help grow the business organically and inorganically.
