Arma Partners advises Aspirity Partners on its acquisition of Onomondo
Arma Partners is pleased to announce that it has acted as financial advisor to Aspirity Partners on its acquisition of Onomondo, the global IoT infrastructure and connectivity platform.
Founded in Copenhagen in 2012 by Michael Freundt Karlsen and Henrik Aagaard, Onomondo owns and operates a proprietary end-to-end technology stack and software-defined core network purpose-built for IoT. Operating across nearly 700 networks in more than 180 countries, the company provides enterprises with the visibility, control and flexibility required to deploy and manage connected products at global scale.
Through innovations such as SoftSIM and its unique capability to seamlessly orchestrate connectivity across public and private network environments, Onomondo has developed a differentiated infrastructure platform that enables enterprises to manage increasingly complex connectivity environments. Its proprietary architecture and patented Cloud Connector technology help remove operational friction and create the foundation for more intelligent and scalable connected-device ecosystems.
The transaction will enable Aspirity Partners to work alongside the founders and management team to accelerate Onomondo’s international expansion and support its continued development as a leading global infrastructure and connectivity platform.
This transaction underscores Arma Partners’ exceptional track record of executing transactions in IoT connectivity, having previously advised Montagu Private Equity on its acquisition of Wireless Logic, Wireless Logic on its earlier sale to CVC, CSL on its sale to ECI Partners, and JT Group on the carve-out of JT IoT to Perwyn.
