Arma Partners advises Mid Europa Partners on its acquisition of Sage’s Polish business

Arma Partners is pleased to announce that it has acted as financial advisor to Mid Europa Partners on its acquisition of the Polish business of The Sage Group plc operating under the “Symfonia” brand. The transaction is subject to antitrust approval and is expected to complete in early 2021.

The company offers four best-in-class products (Symfonia 50Cloud, Symfonia ERP, Symfonia Kadry i Płace One Payroll and Symfonia Start) to a diversified base of loyal clients. Symfonia recently transitioned from traditional software licensing to a recurring subscription model, achieving robust top-line growth and enhanced profitability.

The acquisition builds on Mid Europa’s proven track record of investing in CEE-rooted champions in growth sectors including digital, technology, online and B2B software. Mid Europa will support Symfonia’s management team in the execution of future strategic initiatives, including new product development and the expansion of its cloud offering, both organically and through acquisitions.
