Arma Partners expands senior team in Media & Internet and FinTech
Arma Partners is pleased to announce the appointments of Jeremie Sokolowsky as Partner and Bruno Nehmé as Managing Director. Jeremie and Bruno will both be based in Arma’s London office and will further enhance the firm’s deal origination and execution capabilities and coverage of the Media & Internet and FinTech sub-sectors respectively. Their appointments come in a period of record activity levels for Arma, which has advised on 15 transactions valued cumulatively at $8.8bn, including three deals valued above $1bn, in the first five months of Arma’s current financial year commencing April 1st.
Jeremie Sokolowsky has been appointed as a Partner at Arma and will work closely alongside Eric Lawson-Smith to lead the firm’s Media & Internet practice. Previously, Jeremie was a Managing Director and Head of European Media at Goldman Sachs. In this role, he advised companies such as Deezer, Formula 1, Just Eat, Scout24, Showroomprivé, Sigfox, Skyscanner, Viacom and Yandex on M&A, private financings and capital markets transactions. Prior to this, he was a Vice President in the Media & Communications group of Morgan Stanley in London. Jeremie began his career at Merrill Lynch, in London and Palo Alto, California, advising Technology & Internet clients. He holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and received his undergraduate degree from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris.
Bruno Nehmé joins Arma as a Managing Director focused on FinTech and will work closely alongside John Meehan, Partner and head of the firm’s FinTech practice. Bruno holds over 15 years of M&A and financing experience. He joins Arma from JPMorgan, where he led the Strategic Investments European team. In this role, he invested in and managed a portfolio of FinTech companies and sat on multiple Boards. Prior to this, he worked as a banker within JPMorgan’s Financial Institutions Group and advised clients across Europe on M&A and capital markets transactions. Bruno graduated from HEC Paris, with a specialisation in Finance.
