Arma Partners promotes Daniel Fugmann to Partner in its market-leading Software team

Daniel has made an outstanding contribution to the growth of the firm, bringing a wealth of experience, deep domain expertise and extensive client relationships within the enterprise software sector. With over 15 years’ experience advising technology companies, investors and founders, Daniel has developed a reputation for excellent strategic advice across all aspects of M&A for public and private companies, while building long-term, trusted adviser relationships.
In his new role, Daniel will join Paul-Noël Guély and Varun Sunderraman in leading Arma’s Software practice and his appointment will further strengthen Arma’s position advising companies and investors in the Digital Economy as we continue to expand and scale our business.

Daniel joined Arma’s London office in 2021 as a Director and was promoted to Managing Director in 2022. Since then he has advised on landmark transactions including the sale of EQT’s and TA Associates’ significant minority stake in IFS and WorkWave to Hg at a $10bn valuation, the take private of Norwegian listed EcoOnline by Apax, the strategic growth investment in Agilio Software by TA Associates and Five Arrows, the acquisition of AMCS by EQT, the take private of Canadian listed Copperleaf by IFS and the acquisition of Zellis by Apax and its subsequent acquisition of Benify.”

Daniel holds an MSc in Finance and BSc in Business & Economics from Copenhagen Business School and is a former elite member of the Royal Danish Army.
