Joined Arma Partners in 2017. Andrew has over 15 years of corporate finance experience and a track record of transactions in technology and communications. Previously, Andrew was a Director with Deloitte Corporate Finance. Prior to this, Andrew held positions in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs and the transactions services team at KPMG.
Andrew is a chartered accountant (ACA) and engineering graduate from the University of Cambridge.
Why Arma

Communications and cloud services
My career to date has been focussed on communications and cloud services. The market has evolved massively and the cloud has transformed the way in which computing power and communications services are provisioned. Which, in turn, enables new business models that are independent of their underlying infrastructure.
I believe that building deep experience and understanding of a sector is one of the key ingredients of succeeding in the M&A market. This is another reason I enjoy being at Arma, as building a career here allows focus on a sector and creates the opportunity to become globally recognised as an M&A expert in your chosen part of the digital ecosystem.
Key highlight at Arma
The satisfaction of originating and closing deals is what motivates me. My highlight at Arma to date is our recent run of public and hybrid cloud deals. Over the last 12 months, we sold Nordcloud, the European leader in public cloud, to IBM; New Signature, the leading independent Microsoft cloud services provider, to Cognizant; and Node4, a UK leader in cloud-led digital transformation and hybrid managed services, to Providence. These deals, alongside our long track record in the sector, give us genuine sector leadership of which myself and the team are extremely proud.
Why I stay
The opportunity to continue to grow and build my career here is the key reason I stay. I believe Arma offers me the best platform to build relationships and lead important transactions in my sector. I am excited to continuing the journey here and building on our team’s success in the market.
