“Arma offers juniors the opportunity to really showcase what they can do. You’re not hidden away….”

Entrepreneurial & collegial environment
At Arma, although you are given a project and are part of a team, you’ll find that our culture here is very open. If you ever have a question you can ask the people in your own team or those around you, irrespective of level, they are always happy to help.
I think this is one of the few firms that offers juniors the opportunity to really showcase what they can do. You’re not hidden away and if you demonstrate you are motivated, driven and can be trusted then you’re given more responsibility. This isn’t always the case at large corporate banks.
The early client exposure was fantastic. Even as an intern I was attending meetings, travelling and interacting with clients directly. This was very rewarding as it showed the team trusted me and valued my opinion.
Team events and having fun
A lot of effort goes into arranging the quarterly and Christmas team dinners and it’s a great way to relax and get to know your colleagues. It gives you the opportunity to interact with the people you don’t get to on a daily basis, as well as the chance to speak with Partners, hear what they’re working on and get their perspectives.
Arma is a very enjoyable place to work. People are incredibly hard-working, smart and grounded. We have a supportive, collegial environment, so if you want to learn or do something new, there is always someone available to advise you.
