Arma Partners is pleased to announce that it has acted as exclusive financial adviser to ParkingEye Limited on its sale to Capita plc. ParkingEye provides Automated Number Plate Recognition (“ANPR”) parking solutions in the UK.

ParkingEye was established in 2002, bringing technology-centred car park management solutions to an antiquated industry. The Company has rapidly become a leading provider in the UK, commanding over 40% of the ANPR market due to the quality of its product, service delivery and system integrity. Based in Chorley, Lancashire, ParkingEye has around 160 employees, managing more than 830 car parks across the UK.

Capita is the UK’s leading provider of business process outsourcing and professional services, delivering back office administration and front office customer contact services. Capita is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a member of the FTSE 100. The business had an annual turnover of £3.3 billion in 2012 and serves clients in central government, local government and the private sector.
