Arma Partners advises 1E on its $720m sale to TeamViewer
Arma Partners is pleased to announce that it has acted as exclusive financial advisor to 1E, a portfolio company of Carlyle Europe Technology Partners (“CETP”), part of global investment firm Carlyle, on its $720 million sale to TeamViewer, a global leader in remote connectivity and digital workplace solutions. The transaction is expected to close in early 2025 and is subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
Founded in 1997 and headquartered in London, 1E offers a leading Digital Employee Experience (“DEX”) platform that delivers real-time visibility on enterprise IT landscapes. 1E enables customers to minimise IT downtime, disruptions, and costs, thus enhancing IT performance and employee experience by identifying issues in real-time and automating remediation directly at the endpoint.
By integrating 1E’s DEX capabilities, TeamViewer will deliver an industry-leading, one-stop-shop for IT operations, intelligent AI-enabled endpoint management and enhanced user experience in the digital workplace. The acquisition will also accelerate TeamViewer’s growth in its enterprise segment and expand its footprint in the US.
This transaction underscores Arma Partners’ ability to deliver highly successful cross-border exits to strategic buyers and its deep expertise in IT infrastructure software and cybersecurity.
