Arma Partners advises Unifaun on its merger with Consignor Group

Arma Partners is pleased to announce that it has acted as financial advisor to Unifaun, a portfolio company of Marlin Equity Partners, on its merger with Consignor, a portfolio company of Francisco Partners. The transaction, which is subject to customary regulatory approval, creates a prominent global provider of cloud Transport Administration Systems (TAS) in which both Marlin Equity Partners and Francisco Partners will be equal shareholders and together own a majority of the combined business.

The two highly complementary industry leaders will combine to offer shippers, carriers and parcel recipients globally an integrated best-in class full-suite SaaS TAS solution for shipping and handling of goods. The combination of Unifaun’s and Consignor’s technology, talent and operational resources will substantially elevate the offering for customers who will benefit from the collective best-of-breed features and functionalities, wider geographic coverage and deeper domain knowledge and expertise.

With their deep technology expertise and extensive global network, Marlin Equity Partners and Francisco Partners will support the combined company’s global growth ambitions, both organically and through acquisitions, in a highly fragmented market.

This transaction further underscores Arma Partners’ deep expertise in logistics, transportation and supply chain management software, having advised Francisco Partners on its acquisition of Consignor in July 2020 and Unifaun, backed by Marlin Equity Partners, on this merger.
