Arma Partners is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial adviser to The Carlyle Group on its acquisition of ITRS Group, a global provider of real-time monitoring systems for the world’s financial institutions. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Established in 1997 and headquartered in London, ITRS is a fast-growing, multi award-winning technology provider, primarily focused on supplying the financial services sector with trading infrastructure monitoring software. The company has over 600 installations worldwide and its clients include 8 of the top 10 global investment banks and several brokers, exchanges, hedge funds and data vendors. In the year ended March 2011, ITRS generated more than £16 million ($25 million) in revenues.

This transaction, Arma Partners’ twelfth deal in the past twelve months, highlights our continued strong focus on the financial technology sector. Our ongoing activity in the sector has given us very high levels of visibility on the key value drivers for financial technology companies and on the identity and objectives of the main buyers who will drive consolidation of the sector.
