Arma Partners is pleased to announce that it has acted as exclusive financial advisor to Datix, a portfolio company of Five Arrows, on its sale to TA Associates, a leading global growth private equity firm. Five Arrows will continue to control the business, jointly with TA Associates.

Datix is a pioneer in mission critical patient safety and compliance software, enabling healthcare organisations to improve the quality of patient care. Datix has been a thought leader and market shaper for over 30 years, protecting more than 110 million patients across 20,000+ global sites in the UK, North America, Australia and the Middle East. The company has enjoyed uninterrupted profitable growth for over a decade by expanding into adjacent healthcare segments and new geographical markets.

Under the joint ownership of Five Arrows and TA Associates, Datix aims to accelerate its growth trajectory, both organic and inorganic, and is on track to become a category leader in patient safety and the broader healthcare Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC) software sub-segment.

On the back of the sale last week of Allocate Software to Vista Equity Partners, this transaction further underscores Arma Partners’ deep expertise in healthcare technology and our ability to secure successful transatlantic outcomes for European headquartered healthcare technology companies.
