Arma Partners is pleased to announce that it has acted as financial advisor to Contabo, a portfolio company of Oakley Capital, on its majority sale to KKR.
Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Munich, Contabo has generated exceptional revenue and EBITDA growth to become one of the leading global cloud hosting platforms used by SMEs, entrepreneurs and developers.
The investment from KKR will support the next stage of Contabo’s ambitious growth plan and strengthen its position as a global leader in SME cloud hosting. Oakley Capital, who first invested in 2019, alongside proven hosting entrepreneurs Thomas Strohe, Jochen Berger and Thomas Vollrath, and other existing shareholders will invest alongside KKR as minority partners in order to benefit from the anticipated future growth of the business.
This transaction, another landmark deal in cloud services, continues Arma Partners’ global leadership as the financial advisor of choice to the world’s leading public and hybrid cloud companies and extends our track record of delivering exceptional outcomes for Private Equity investors and entrepreneurs.
