Arma Partners is pleased to announce that it has acted as exclusive financial advisor to Azzurri Communications Ltd on its sale to Maintel Holdings PLC (AIM:MAI).

Azzurri Communications provides a variety of communication services, including cloud, data, mobile, unified communications and managed services products to an attractive enterprise customer base across both the public and private sector. The acquisition will achieve greater scale and visibility for the combined business and accelerate Maintel’s shift into cloud and data, ensuring that the company is well positioned to exploit these high growth areas of the unified communications market. This deal is a further example of continuing consolidation in the UK communications sector and represents a positive outcome for Azzurri Communications’ shareholders.

The transaction constitutes a reverse takeover under the AIM Rules and accordingly is subject to approval by Maintel’s shareholders.
